Baseball Recap: Casa Roble Triumphs

Casa Roble won against Union Mine on Monday with five runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Rams came out on top against the Center Cougars by a score of 5-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rams.

Aidan Lopez looked comfortable as he tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Ian Peatross, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last six games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Nate Stillman, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Casa Roble's record is now 11-9. As for Center, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-9-1 record this season.

Casa Roble will challenge Rio Linda at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Rams' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Knights have averaged an impressive 6.1 runs per game this season. As for Center, they will face off against El Camino at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
