It's playoff time, and Neah Bay had no trouble coming through when it counted. They were the clear victor by a 53-30 margin over the Wellpinit Redskins on Friday. The Red Devils have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Neah Bay's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Cerise Moss, who shot 47% from the field on her way to 20 points in addition to eight boards and four steals. Moss' big performance that afternoon made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Wiinuk 'Nu Nu' Martin, who went 6-for-12 en route to 14 points and eight rebounds.

The win was the ninth in a row for Neah Bay, bringing their record for this year to 23-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.9 points over those games. As for Wellpinit, their defeat dropped their record down to 22-3.

Neah Bay and Wellpinit are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Neah Bay and Garfield-Palouse will face off at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. The two teams have allowed few points on average, (Garfield-Palouse 27.7, Neah Bay 29) so any points scored will be well earned. As for Wellpinit, they and Waterville/Mansfield will face off at 11:15 a.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. Waterville/Mansfield will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Wellpinit surely won't give up without a fight.
