Basketball Recap: Koinonia Academy Takes a Loss

Koinonia Academy lost against Dayton back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Koinonia Academy received a blow as they fell 55-40 to the Dayton Bulldogs. Koinonia Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dayton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Luke Sherman led the charge by going 7 for 10 en route to 17 points. Matthew Ren was another key player, going 6 of 9 on his way to 15 points.

Koinonia Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Dayton, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-9.

Koinonia Academy has already played their next match (against Shore Regional), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Dayton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 64-41 loss against Lincoln on the 1st.
