Baseball Preview: St. Frederick Warriors vs. Choudrant Aggies

The St. Frederick Warriors will face off against the Choudrant Aggies at 11:00 p.m. on Saturday. St. Frederick is coming into the game hot, having won their last eight games.

St. Frederick is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Delta Charter a 15-0 shutout on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

On the hitting side, WILLIAM PATRICK was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was ALEX TONOROE, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.

St. Frederick kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Delta Charter only managed one hit.

Choudrant not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since March 18th. They put the hurt on Downsville with a sharp 15-1 victory.

Colton Smith was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-5.

In other batting news, Rhett James was a standout: he scored three runs while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. Cash Camp was another key player, scoring two runs while getting on base in four of his six plate appearances.
