Basketball Recap: Talihina Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Talihina can now relate to. They lost to the Chouteau-Mazie Wildcats on the road by a 64-45 margin on Monday. The Golden Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2016.

Talihina's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Chouteau-Mazie, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-10.

Talihina didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 66-63 loss against Panama on the 24th. As for Chouteau-Mazie, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Vanoss at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
