Basketball Recap: Canon City Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Canon City took on Maryvale on Thursday. The Tigers fell 56-48 to the Panthers. The loss leaves the Tigers still looking for their first win of the season.

Canon City's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Maryvale, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.

Canon City will take on Sierra in a holiday battle at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Maryvale, they will be home for the holidays to greet Liberty at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
