Soccer Game Preview: Rosamond vs. Bishop Union

The Rosamond Roadrunners will take on the Bishop Union Broncos at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Rosamond is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering California City just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 2-0 to the Ravens. One thing that didn't help the Roadrunners' chances was the red card they were dealt courtesy of Jesus Perez.

Meanwhile, Bishop Union hasn't lost a match since December 6, 2024, a trend which continued in their latest game on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand Mammoth a 1-0 shutout. The Broncos' winning goal came courtesy of Iker Gonzalez.

Rosamond's defeat dropped their record down to 12-11-1. As for Bishop Union, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-1-2 record this season.
