Volleyball Recap: Hillside Comes Up Short

Hillside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Enloe Eagles.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-9, 25-13.

Enloe found their leader in sophomore Charlie Holovach, who had 17 aces. Those 17 aces gave Holovach a new career-high. Ruari McKenna was another key player, getting seven kills and three aces.

Hillside's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Enloe, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hillside will host Chapel Hill at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Chapel Hill will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Hillside surely won't give up without a fight. As for Enloe, they will challenge Millbrook at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
