Softball Recap: Trinity Christian Comes Up Short

Trinity Christian lost against Nazarene Christian Academy back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Trinity Christian Eagles fell just short of the Nazarene Christian Academy Lions by a score of 4-2. That's two games in a row now that the Eagles have lost by exactly two runs.

This is the second loss in a row for Trinity Christian and nudges their season record down to 0-2. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for Nazarene Christian Academy, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Trinity Christian wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 15-1 defeat against Breckenridge on the 27th. As for Nazarene Christian Academy, they have also already played their next contest, a 10-0 loss against Prestonwood Christian on the 24th.
