With a playoff win on the line, Mountain Brook rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They walked away with a 67-54 victory over the Huffman Vikings. Winning may never get old, but the Spartans sure are getting used to it with their eighth in a row.

Mountain Brook pushed their record up to 22-6 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.7 points per game. As for Huffman, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-17 record this season.

Mountain Brook does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Huffman, they will head out to challenge Homewood at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Homewood will roll in looking for their 13th straight victory, something Huffman surely won't give up without a fight.
