Basketball Game Preview: RHAM Raptors vs. Tolland Eagles

RHAM and Tolland are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2019, but not for long. The RHAM Raptors will challenge the Tolland Eagles at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. RHAM has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the match with four straight losses, while Tolland will come in with three straight wins.

RHAM is headed into the contest having just suffered their closest defeat since March 6, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of Enfield by a score of 69-66. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Raptors have suffered against the Eagles since February 19, 2019.

Meanwhile, Tolland was able to grind out a solid victory over Simsbury on Friday, taking the game 63-54. That's two games straight that the Eagles have won by exactly nine points.

RHAM's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Tolland, their win bumped their record up to 6-4.

Everything went RHAM's way against Tolland when the teams last played back in December of 2023, as RHAM made off with an 86-64 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for RHAM since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
