Jones entered their tilt with Industrial on Thursday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Cobras. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Trojans have posted since August 17, 2024.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Jones who won the one that mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 20-25, 27-25.

Harper Green paced Jones' offense, picking up 16 kills. Green got some help from Khloe Avalos and her 17 assists. Finally, Kayley Ford kept Jones' defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Jones' win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Industrial, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Jones wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Gonzales on the 14th. Industrial has also already played their next game (against Shiner), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
