Softball Recap: Providence Pioneers vs. South El Monte Eagles
Providence had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with an 8-3 win over the South El Monte Eagles on Tuesday. The victory was nothing new for Providence as they're now sitting on three straight.
The team relied heavily on Delailah Lopez, who went 2-for-4 with a home run, two runs, and a stolen base. Mia Allinson was another key contributor, scoring a run and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances.
