Softball Recap: St. James' Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Four

St. James won against Myrtle Beach last Friday with ten runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. Everything went St. James' way against the Carolina Forest Panthers as St. James made off with a 10-1 victory. For the Sharks, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 win the Panthers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

The victory was the fourth in a row for St. James, bringing their record up to 7-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Carolina Forest, their defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 8-4-1.

St. James will have a chance to go back-to-back against Carolina Forest: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
