Basketball Game Preview: Eastern Randolph Wildcats vs. Uwharrie Charter Academy Eagles

The Eastern Randolph Wildcats will challenge the Uwharrie Charter Academy Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Eastern Randolph turned things around against Jordan-Matthews on Wednesday. They walked away with a 43-34 victory over the Jets.

Meanwhile, Uwharrie Charter Academy hadn't done well against Randleman recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Uwharrie Charter Academy came out on top against Randleman by a score of 48-41. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Eastern Randolph's win bumped their record up to 5-14. As for Uwharrie Charter Academy, they are also on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 16 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season.
