Baseball Recap: Denison Yellow Jackets vs. Greenville Lions
Denison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Greenville Lions. The Yellow Jackets were not able to make up for their defeat to the Lions from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.
Denison saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Max Aleman, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one stolen base.
Denison's loss dropped their record down to 5-21. As for Greenville, they now have a winning record of 11-10.
While Denison had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
