Basketball Game Preview: Alsea Wolverines vs. Mohawk Mustangs

Alsea and Mohawk are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2022, but not for long. The Wolverines will host the Mustangs at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Alsea is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Eddyville just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 50-40 to the Eagles.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Mohawk, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They blew past Siletz Valley 57-15 on Thursday. The matchup marked the Mustangs' most dominant victory of the season.

Mohawk moved to 11-13 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Alsea, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-12.

Alsea strolled past Mohawk when the teams last played on Tuesday by a score of 58-39. Will the Wolverines repeat their success, or do the Mustangs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
