There's no place like home for Holly Springs, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They managed a 12-8 victory over the Trinity Christian Crusaders on Friday. The win was some much needed relief for the Golden Hawks as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Cole Pare threw for 124 yards and one touchdown. Lamar Daniels was his top target, picking up 85 receiving yards and one TD.

Holly Springs' victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Trinity Christian, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-2 record.

Holly Springs wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 37-7 loss against Middle Creek on the 30th. As for Trinity Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 29-20 win against Harrells Christian Academy on the 31st.
