Baseball Recap: Grace Academy Find Success

Grace Academy hadn't done well against Pro Stock Royals Academy recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Lions walked away with a 7-3 victory over the Royals. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

Grace Academy let Brody Mcnamara and Nick Coccus run wild. Mcnamara scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-3, while Coccus scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Mcnamara has become a key player for Grace Academy: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 4-5 otherwise.

Grace Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .529. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Pro Stock Royals Academy only posted an OBP of .387.

Grace Academy's record is now 10-5. As for Pro Stock Royals Academy, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-3.
