Marshall County got themselves on the board against Carlisle County on Monday, but Carlisle County never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over the Comets. Considering the Marshals have won 20 contests by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Marshall County and bumps their season record up to 34-9-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 2 run in those games. As for Carlisle County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-17 record this season.
