Basketball Game Preview: John Hancock Academy Rebels vs. Gatewood Gators

John Hancock Academy is 0-10 against Gatewood since December of 2019 but things could change on Monday. The Rebels will head out to face off against the Gators at 7:00 p.m. John Hancock Academy has given up an average of 65 points per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, John Hancock Academy ended up a good deal behind Fullington Academy and lost 64-46.

Gatewood had taken Georgia Military College down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Saturday. The Gators were beaten by the Bulldogs 67-23.

Gatewood's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for John Hancock Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.

John Hancock Academy took a serious blow against Gatewood in their previous matchup back in November, falling 76-44. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Gators' Bennett Haley, who shot 50% from the field on his way to 23 points in addition to six assists and five steals.
