Football Recap: Cleburne Comes Up Short on the Road Against Corsicana

Cleburne had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 17-7 to the Corsicana Tigers on Friday.

Mark Brown went supernova for Corsicana, rushing for 121 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries. Brown got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run and that went for an incredible 97 yards. Backing up that air attack was Kenan Murphy, who rushed for 86 yards.

Cleburne will be defending their home-field for the first time this season they go up against Burleson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Cleburne focused on turnovers this week as team gave up four on Friday. As for Corsicana, they will head out to take on Waco at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
