Soccer Recap: Middleton Takes a Loss

Middleton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Gibson County Pioneers, falling 9-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Middleton of the 10-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2021.

Middleton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Gibson County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Middleton will take on Tipton-Rosemark Academy at 5:00 p.m. on the 31st. As for Gibson County, they will venture away from home to take on Fayette Ware at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
