Volleyball Recap: Mendon Unity Beats Pittsfield for Their Fourth Straight Win

Mendon Unity came tearing into Thursday's contest with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Pittsfield Saukees by a score of 2-0. The Mustangs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Saukees, too.

The victory didn't come easy: Pittsfield scored at least 19 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-19.

Mendon Unity's win bumped their record up to 24-4. As for Pittsfield, their loss ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-11.

Looking ahead, Mendon Unity will venture away from home to square off against Illini West at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pittsfield, they will take on Camp Point Central in a tournament on Friday.
