New Town had already won 15 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26.3 points) and they went ahead and made it 16 on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Overlea Falcons by a score of 65-56. For New Town, this counts as revenge for the 77-71 victory Overlea walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.
