Basketball Game Preview: Menard Yellowjackets vs. Panther Creek Panthers

Menard has gone a perfect 10-0 against Panther Creek recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Menard Yellowjackets will host the Panther Creek Panthers at 6:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Menard has ten straight wins, Panther Creek has 15 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Menard is headed into the matchup after thoroughly thrashing Rochelle: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Menard blew Rochelle out of the water with a 64-26 final score. The Yellowjackets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Panther Creek came up short against Olfen on Tuesday, falling 43-23.

Menard's victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-6. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.7 points over those games. As for Panther Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-11.
