Basketball Recap: Union Star Takes a Loss

Union Star was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss. They were outmatched by the Tri-County Mustangs and fell 56-11. The match marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Union Star's defeat dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Tri-County, their victory bumped their record up to 5-7.

Union Star is taking a road trip to square off against Northeast Nodaway at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tri-County, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 48-42 win against Pattonsburg on the 31st.
