It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Cuba City had no problem doing just that on Friday. They managed a 47-43 victory over the Fennimore Golden Eagles. This was a revenge game for the Cubans: when they faced off against the Golden Eagles back in January, they had to take a 71-59 loss.

The win made it two in a row for Cuba City and bumps their season record up to 19-9. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.5 points over those games. As for Fennimore, they now have a losing record of 13-14.

Cuba City didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 64-42 defeat against Darlington on the 8th. Fennimore does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
