Basketball Recap: Monroe Comes Up Short

Monroe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 19th straight loss. They were beaten by the Delavan-Darien Comets 65-35. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Comets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 73-19 back in December of 2024.

Monroe's defeat dropped their record down to 2-20. As for Delavan-Darien, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-11.

Coming up, Monroe will welcome East Troy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Delavan-Darien, they have already played their next contest, a 61-60 loss against Janesville Parker on the 18th.
