Basketball Game Preview: Druid Hills Red Devils vs. Columbia Eagles

Druid Hills is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against St. Pius X Catholic on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Druid Hills was beaten by St. Pius X Catholic 61-7. The contest marked the Red Devils' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Columbia's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell 40-33 to Bradwell Institute. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 131st, while the Tigers are ranked 47th).

Columbia's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Druid Hills, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.
