Volleyball Recap: King Comes Up Short

King was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jones Trojans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Brahmas of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-18.

King now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Jones, they pushed their record up to 12-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.

Coming up, King will face off against Ray at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday. As for Jones, they will square off against Nixon-Smiley at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday.
