Baseball Recap: Alliance Comes Up Short

Alliance was the 6-4 winner over Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy when they last played one another back in April of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Aviators fell just short of the Royals by a score of 2-1 on Wednesday.

DiAngelo Fisk spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on six hits.

On the hitting side, Alliance saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bo Davis, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Alliance's defeat dropped their record down to 17-7-1. As for Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.

Alliance is taking a road trip to face off against McKinley at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy, they will host Woodridge at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
