Basketball Recap: Hononegah Comes Up Short

If Hononegah was riding high fresh off their 61-32 takedown of Intrinsic Charter School Downtown Campus last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Hononegah Indians took a 53-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the East Moline United Panthers. The Indians haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Hononegah's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for East Moline United, their victory bumped their record up to 9-4.

Hononegah will head out on the road to take on Barrington at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Barrington's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five matchups. As for East Moline United, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 64-39 win against Manley on the 28th.
