David Crockett won against Tennessee last Tuesday with 80 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Thursday. The David Crockett Pioneers strolled past the South Greene Rebels with points to spare, taking the game 80-66. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 71-60 win back in December of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why South Greene lost, don't look at Chandler Gamble. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double with 31 points and 14 boards. That's the most rebounds Gamble has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Charlie Lane, who went 7-for-17 to rack up 14 points and five boards.

David Crockett has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.5 points over those games. As for South Greene, they dropped their record down to 19-9 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

David Crockett has already played their next contest, an 80-44 win against Sullivan East on the 15th. South Greene does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
