You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter and that's exactly how it played out for Lemont on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew the Tinley Park Titans out of the water with a 50-13 final score. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 27-7.

It was another big night for Andrew Ascolani, who rushed for 125 yards and two scores on only 11 carries. Mike Preuss was another key player, throwing for 165 yards and three TDs on only 14 passes.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Lemont was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 244 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Despite the loss, Tinley Park still got an impressive performance from Ladale Smith, who rushed for 119 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

The win made it two in a row for Lemont and bumps their season record up to 2-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 20 points in those games. As for Tinley Park, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
