Softball Game Preview: Frisco Raccoons vs. Emerson Mavericks

The Frisco Raccoons will face off against the Emerson Mavericks at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Last Wednesday, Frisco came up short against Liberty and fell 9-5.

Frisco saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bailee Hodnett, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3. That's the most runs Hodnett has posted since back in March of 2024.

Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, Emerson's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They lost 15-5 to Wakeland. The game marked the Mavericks' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Frisco's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8-1. As for Emerson, their loss dropped their record down to 5-2.
