Basketball Recap: Rayne Comes Up Short

Rayne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a hard 60-46 fall against the Comeaux Spartans. The Wolves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Spartans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2022.

Rayne's loss dropped their record down to 3-22. As for Comeaux, their win bumped their record up to 16-24.

Rayne didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 59-55 victory against North Vermilion on the 14th. As for Comeaux, they have also already played their next game, a 61-43 defeat against Teurlings Catholic on the 14th.
