Volleyball Recap: Ellicott Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Ellicott lost against St. Mary back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Thunderhawks came up short against the Pirates, falling 3-0. The Thunderhawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-7, 25-11.

St. Mary's was led to victory by Julia Clieves and Ally Flanigan. Clieves had 23 assists and five aces, while Flanigan had five aces and one assist. That's the most aces Flanigan has posted over her last eight matches. Claire Collins also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Ellicott's loss dropped their record down to 1-18. As for St. Mary's, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 12-11.

Ellicott has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against The Vanguard School on the 30th. St. Mary's does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
