Baseball Game Preview: Harrah Panthers vs. Tecumseh Savages

Harrah has gone 8-2 against Tecumseh recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Harrah Panthers will look to defend their home field against the Tecumseh Savages at 5:00 p.m. Harrah is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.8 runs per game this season.

While Harrah's victory against Tecumseh wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Harrah sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 win over Tecumseh on Monday. The victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Savages: they've now won four in a row.

The team relied heavily on Joey Mclaughlin, who scored three runs and stole Three bases. while going 3-for-4. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Heath Whitmore, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Tecumseh's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Harrah, the win got them back to even at 3-3.
