Softball Recap: Keith Bears vs. Dallas County Hornets        
        
		
            
 Keith waltzed into their game  on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They had just enough and edged the Dallas County Hornets out  10-9. This was payback for Keith, who suffered  a  13-3  defeat the last time these two teams met.
 For Dallas County's part,  Tiara Brown was huge no matter where she played even without the win. She  pitched 1.1 innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Brown has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in seven consecutive pitching appearances. Brown was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring three  runs and  stealing three bases while going 2-for-3.
 In other batting news,  M Mccary made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 2-for-3.  Nakiya Stubbs was another key contributor,  going 2-for-3 with two  stolen bases and two  RBI.
 Keith has  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record  this season. As for Dallas County,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 8-13.
 Keith does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Dallas County, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Selma at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday.
