Thompson Valley is a perfect 3-0 against Wellington since September of 2024 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. Thompson Valley will be playing at home against Wellington at 6:30 p.m. The timing is sure in Thompson Valley's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Wellington has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.

On Tuesday, Thompson Valley beat Mountain View 3-1.

The victory didn't come easy: Mountain View scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-18, 23-25, 27-25, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Wellington didn't have quite enough to beat Roosevelt on Tuesday and fell 3-2.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Wellington sadly wound up on the wrong side. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 19-25, 25-22, 10-25, 15-5.

Thompson Valley will have to contain Riley Dugan as she made an impact in Wellington's last game. She had 23 assists and five digs.

Wellington's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Thompson Valley, their win bumped their record up to 7-4.

Everything went Thompson Valley's way against Wellington in their previous matchup back in September, as Thompson Valley made off with a 3-0 victory. Will Thompson Valley repeat their success, or does Wellington has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
