Basketball Recap: Barrack Hebrew Academy Comes Up Short

If Barrack Hebrew Academy was feeling good fresh off their 59-29 takedown of Martin Luther last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Barrack Hebrew Academy Cougars took a blow against Friends' Central on Tuesday, falling 87-33. The Cougars were not able to make up for their loss to Friends' Central from their previous meeting back in January.

Friends' Central was led to victory by Su Alleyne and Pat Feamster. Alleyne went 7 for 9 on his way to 16 points in addition to seven rebounds and six steals, while Feamster went 8 of 9 en route to 20 points. Alleyne is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabe Moore, who went 6 of 10 on his way to 14 points.

Barrack Hebrew Academy now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Friends' Central, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-6.

Barrack Hebrew Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 55-39 win against Avon Grove Charter on the 12th. As for Friends' Central, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 62-55 victory against Westtown on the 13th.
