Recap: Lincoln Cougars vs. Philip Barbour Colts
The Lincoln Cougars were the 34-21 winner over the Philip Barbour Colts when they last played one another back in October of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Lincoln was outmatched by Philip Barbour on the road and fell 42-14. Lincoln has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Leading Philip Barbour to victory were Kaden Humphreys and Nathaniel Hulver. Humphreys rushed for 117 yards and two touchdowns, while Hulver rushed for 130 yards and four touchdowns. Cameron Bennett did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 86 receiving yards.
Lincoln has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-3 record this season. As for Philip Barbour, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2.
Lincoln does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Philip Barbour also has no future games currently scheduled.
