Soccer Recap: Calverton Triumphs

Calverton's game on Monday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They came out on top against the Takoma Academy Tigers by a score of 3-1. This was payback for Calverton, who suffered a 4-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

Calverton now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Takoma Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Calverton will host Varsity Opponent at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Takoma Academy, they will take on Southern Maryland Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
