Volleyball Recap: Fowler Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Fowler and Wiggins squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Fowler had to settle for second. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 3-0. The Grizzlies were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2022.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-14, 25-17.

Jaslyn Bates paced Fowler's offense, picking up ten kills. Bates got some help from Syriah Alvarez and her nine assists. Finally, Madison Porto kept Fowler's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Fowler's loss dropped their record down to 15-10. As for Wiggins, they pushed their record up to 18-7 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

Fowler does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wiggins, they will challenge Buena Vista at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday.
