Football Recap: Carroll Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Carroll had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a 14-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hamilton Southeastern Royals. The loss continues a trend for the Chargers in their meetings with the Royals: they've now lost three in a row.

Gabe Frisinger threw for 268 yards on 20 of 35 attempts. Logan Heath was his top target, picking up 51 receiving yards.

The critical scores for Hamilton Southeastern came from Terry Walker III and Carter Reed.

Looking ahead, Carroll will host Center Grove at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Hamilton Southeastern, they are headed away from home for the first time to take on North Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
