Hubbard piles up the points against Academy for Urban Scholars

Recap: Hubbard Eagles vs. Academy for Urban Scholars Hawks
The Hubbard Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They claimed a resounding 78-48 victory over Academy for Urban Scholars at home. Perhaps unsurprisinly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.
Hubbard had a senior duo take command as Caden Candor scored 17 points along with three steals and Gavin Rybicki scored 14 points along with two blocks. It was the first time this season that Candor scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyle Barr, who scored nine points.
The victory got Hubbard back to even at 10-10. As for Academy for Urban Scholars, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-16.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hubbard will face off against Mathews at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Ohio (Mathews is ranked 581st, while Hubbard is ranked 557th). Academy for Urban Scholars is on the road again on Tuesday and plays Brookfield at 7:00 p.m. on February 13th. Academy for Urban Scholars is facing Brookfield at the right time seeing as Brookfield is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
