Basketball Game Preview: DeRidder Dragons vs. Eunice Bobcats

DeRidder has gone a perfect 3-0 against Eunice recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The DeRidder Dragons will host the Eunice Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. DeRidder is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.

Last Friday, DeRidder came up short against LaGrange and fell 41-30.

Meanwhile, Eunice hadn't done well against Leesville recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Eunice came out on top against Leesville by a score of 70-57. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bobcats.

Eunice's victory bumped their record up to 19-20. As for DeRidder, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-27.

DeRidder didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Eunice when the teams last played back in February of 2024, but they still walked away with a 51-46 win. Will DeRidder repeat their success, or does Eunice have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
