Soccer Recap: Chelmsford Takes a Loss

Chelmsford managed to slip by Cambridge Rindge & Latin the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Lions came up short against the Falcons on Saturday, falling 5-1. While losing is never fun, Chelmsford can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts soccer rankings (they are ranked 258th, while Cambridge Rindge & Latin are ranked 82nd).

Chelmsford has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 0-8-2 record this season. As for Cambridge Rindge & Latin, they pushed their record up to 5-3-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coming up, Chelmsford will host Andover at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Andover's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Cambridge Rindge & Latin, they will head out on the road to take on Lincoln-Sudbury at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
