Macksville had won two straight road games and Diego Esparza did his part to make it three on Tuesday. The Macksville Mustangs were the clear victor by a 66-43 margin over the Kinsley Coyotes thanks in part to Esparza, who went 11-for-24 to rack up 27 points in addition to seven rebounds and six steals. The contest was his 25th in a row with at least 15 points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Nolan Adams, who posted six points and three blocks. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in assists (two).

When it comes to explaining why Kinsley lost, don't look at Anthony Meza. Despite the final result, he put up 11 points and seven boards. Meza has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played.

Macksville's victory bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Kinsley, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14.

Macksville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 73-61 win against Bucklin on the 14th. As for Kinsley, they have also already played their next game, a 79-39 loss against Ellinwood on the 14th.
